Traumatic experiences could be transmitted between generations - Research suggests.


Fearful memories haunt mouse descendants.   Genetic imprint from traumatic experiences carries through at least two generations.

A study published by American scientist by Emory University School of Medicine points out that human behaviours could be affected by relived episodes by past generations by means of some genetic memory.

The research showed that a traumatic event could affect the sperm DNA  and alter the brains and behaviours of the future generations.
